As a young boy growing up in Mexico, Millan spent a lot of time at his grandfather’s ranch. He loved watching the pack, or group, of wild dogs that roamed there. In fact, Millan spent so much time watching the dogs that he was given the nickname “El Perrero.” This means “dog boy” in Spanish.
